Government should be judged by what people experience, not by how many announcements it makes. These are the issues where I will keep pressing for measurable improvement.
Affordability & the Economy
British Columbia needs a competitive economy where people can afford to live, work, build, invest and raise a family. That means disciplined spending, faster approvals, more housing and fewer barriers to productive investment.
Healthcare & Seniors
Track access honestly. Publish wait times. Stabilize rural and community emergency care. Expand diagnostic and long-term care capacity. Make workforce planning about clinicians actually practising, not offers announced.
Public Safety & Community Order
Treatment, mental-health supports and compassion matter. So do safe parks, streets and businesses. Policy has to be capable of holding both ideas at the same time.
Forestry, Resources & Jobs
British Columbia cannot simply manage industrial decline. We need certainty, competitive costs and long-term access to the resources that sustain communities across the province.
Accountable Government
Public information should be public by default. Major projects, procurement, health performance and program outcomes should be reported in ways taxpayers can actually understand.
Strong Communities
Provincial policy works only when it works locally. Municipalities, First Nations, non-profits, small businesses and community institutions need a government that listens before it dictates.
