Brennan Day is the Independent MLA for Courtenay–Comox, representing communities in the Comox Valley in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. A longtime Comox Valley resident and Highland Secondary graduate, he studied political science and international relations at Vancouver Island University and the University of Calgary.
Before entering elected politics, Brennan worked in operations and project leadership in Canada and internationally, including large industrial and construction projects. He later served as Executive Director of the Eureka Support Society, a Comox Valley mental-health clubhouse organization.
That mix of private-sector, non-profit and community experience shapes how he approaches public policy: define the problem, measure the outcome, respect the people doing the work and do not confuse spending money with solving the problem.
He was elected MLA for Courtenay–Comox in October 2024 and now sits as an Independent Conservative MLA.
