Represent Courtenay–Comox without having every vote, statement or question dictated by a party line.

Accountable.
The circumstances have changed. The job has not. I was elected to represent Courtenay–Comox, and that remains my focus. I will continue to judge issues on their merits, speak plainly and work on the challenges facing our community and our province. There will be time to talk about what comes next. For now, it is time to get back to work.
A different approach
Politics should still be about getting things done.
British Columbia faces serious challenges. Affordability, healthcare, public safety, forestry and economic uncertainty cannot be solved by louder politics or smaller political tribes. They require competent government, serious debate, evidence and accountability.

Demand measurable results
Announcements are not outcomes. Government should show what changed, what it cost and whether it worked.

Keep the door open
You do not have to agree with me to be heard. Better decisions come from serious conversations with people who see things differently.
British Columbia does not need more grievance politics. It needs a government capable of doing the basic things well — and an opposition serious enough to demand it.
Priorities
Focus on the things that actually matter.
Independence creates room to work across issues instead of being boxed into a party’s message of the day. These are the areas where I believe British Columbia needs sustained, practical attention.
Affordability & Economy
Make it possible to build a life here.
Lower barriers to investment and housing, protect good jobs, demand value for public spending and focus economic policy on productivity and opportunity.
Healthcare & Seniors
Measure access by what patients experience.
ER closures, primary care access, diagnostics, long-term care capacity and workforce shortages need transparent reporting and practical fixes.
Public Safety
Compassion and order are not opposites.
Communities deserve a response that treats addiction and mental illness seriously while protecting public spaces and confronting repeat offending.
Forestry & Resources
Stop managing decline.
Resource communities need certainty, competitive policy and a realistic plan to keep investment, mills and family-supporting jobs in British Columbia.
